From my "Día de los Muertos" series. This piece is inspired by my Abuelito, growing up he would play his acoustic guitar all the time. I would stay over my grandparent's home almost every week and on the weekends go with them to their Church. Both my Abuelita and Abuelito would sing together as he played at the Church. The amazing thing was he learned by sound, he didn't know chords or music sheets but the placement of his fingers. Some of the songs he would sing, he took with him when he passed. It's a big regret of mine that I never recorded him playing. When I play around with my own guitar I'm always reminded of him.
